Every year, UCF brings its best and brightest artists to Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for a large-scale celebration of the things that make our world more interesting and beautiful. This year, UCF Celebrates the Arts is bigger than ever, with a multi-day production of an award-winning, family-friendly musical, concerts in the new Steinmetz Hall, lectures and discussions, multimedia events, chamber music, an expanded visual arts presence throughout the center and more. Architecture Dr. Sarah Hearne is joining the Section of Architecture as an Assistant Professor this Fall. Professor Hearne is an architect, educator, and curator based in Los Angeles. Homeowners Are Hiring Interior Designers to Bring Their Personal Collections Into the Open
Homeowners feeling pressure to clear out their clutter are taking a different route when that jumble includes a personal collection: committing to a proper display. A sizable collection can set the tone for a home’s entire design, says Goil Amornvivat, a New York designer who has worked with clients’ amassed dolls, sculptures and textiles. The year 2020 will without doubt be etched for posterity in my brain with each hope and total despair. At dwelling, my oldest daughter would graduate from High College and go away for faculty. At perform, I excitedly awaited the arrival of spring 2020, when an astounding photography exhibit would open at the Pence. Beforehand, 2020 appeared like a magical selection.
