Easton elementary school’s masterpiece bridges art and inclusion for students

A beautiful new piece of art at an Easton elementary school has a pair of the city’s most recognizable icons, the Peace Candle and the free bridge over the Delaware River, crafted by the young students.

But look closer at Paxinosa’s masterpiece and, among the glued tissue paper and handprints, you can see what look like tire tracks. The students used a wheelchair’s wheels on “The Bridge of Peace,” and it was more than a new art technique for the little hands.
