Welsh designer Bethan Gray did something she hadn’t performed for some time all through the enforced hiatus of 2020: she commenced to paint. Picking out Chinese calligraphy brushes, she started to build freeform traces in ultramarine ink on a canvas laid on the floor of her studio.
