Four Arts exhibit in Palm Beach celebrates fiber arts
It is a single of the oldest forms of artistic creativity in the world, dating back to the Neolithic period, but a modern interpretation of weaving and textile art is on show now at The Culture of the 4 Arts. “A Lovely Mess: Weavers and Knotters of the Vanguard” is a modern day textile exhibition structured by the Bedford Gallery at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, Calif. The 4 Arts is hosting the show’s debut as a traveling exhibition and an accompanying show, ”Speaking Threads: Dialogues with Weavers and Knotters,” featuring artists from the Fiber Artists-Miami Association.
